The heart behind Mocha on the Move® began with a simple question: how can great coffee meet people where they are? More than 15 years ago, the idea started with the thought of serving fresh coffee through mobile delivery — bringing handcrafted drinks directly to families, workers, churches, schools, and community gatherings across Texas.
What began as a van-based coffee concept slowly grew into something of a grander-scale. You see, the original vision was never just about selling coffee quickly. It was about creating a warm, familiar experience that could move with the rhythm of everyday life.
Mocha on the Move® was shaped by a desire to do something meaningful in Texas communities. The goal was to create a coffee brand that felt personal, welcoming, and connected to real people.
From the beginning, the idea was rooted in more than convenience — it was about building a brand that could support busy mornings, meaningful conversations, local partnerships, and everyday moments of connection.
“Mocha on the Move® grew out of a need to do positive things in Texas communities.”
That belief continues to guide the brand today as we prepare to serve the city of Fate, Texas and the surrounding area.
Founder & Visionary, Mocha on the Move®
Darrian Kendall has spent more than 15 years building the vision behind Mocha on the Move®. What started as a passion for bringing quality coffee directly to communities has grown into something much larger — a full coffee shop experience rooted in hospitality, connection, and purpose.
Darrian believes that coffee is more than a drink. It is a reason to pause, connect, and feel at home — wherever you are. That belief has shaped every decision behind Mocha on the Move®, from the mobile delivery concept to the permanent cafe now taking shape in Fate, Texas.
“We didn’t just want to sell coffee. We wanted to build something that genuinely serves and uplifts the people around us.”
